Fact and Fave: Number 4

So this is my fourth random fact and favorite blogger that I said I was going to do, from the Stylish Blog Award tag I got. Sorry I'm taking so long to finish this.

  Fact #4: I conquered 3 mountain peaks despite being Acrophobic.
Acrophobic:suffering from acrophobia; abnormally afraid of high places

I refuse to call myself a mountaineer because I don't think I possess the passion for it. However I am proud of myself because I manage to ascent and descent 3 mountains. For someone who veers away from any sport, physically unfit and generally vain, it was truly an achievement.

It was definitely no walk in the park but I endured it and did manage to have fun. 

I had a totally different fact in mind but when I was browsing through Pax's blog I saw that she's a mountaineer...so I thought it's a nice symmetry right?

Favorite Fashion Blogger: Pax of Drowning Equilibriums

Being the "blazer addict" that I am, it was inevitable that I feature a fellow, self-confessed addict as well. 

Pax has the knack for finding gorgeous pieces in the thrift store and the style to pull it off. Her style is a mix of quirky and classy. kinda polar opposites right? but she makes it work. And i love how she can wear oversize anything even with her petite physique.

mostly dressed in her thrift finds, she will make you drool over her unique clothes. 

(yes, I know. I'd snatch that from her back if I could!)

 

definitely a lady not afraid of colors. 

Preppy? Classic? definitely rocking it.

Pax is the person to blame for my new found penchant for thrift clothes. I bought my first ever from her online shop, Archive Clothing. And haven't stopped since. Most of my fabulous blazers were bought from her!

Fact and Fave: Number 3

So this is my third random fact and favorite blogger that I said I was going to do, from the Stylish Blog Award tag I got.

 Fact #3: I'm Chinese! 75% to be exact.

I'm not really sure if it's apparent in my looks that I am...most of the time people are surprised to know that about me. maybe albeit the chinita eyes, I'm not really built like one.  I'm just way to curvy. LOL. 

or maybe it's the name, Belle Fenix just doesn't really make you think of Dimsums and noodles right? unlike hearing the name Kim Chiu.. it makes you want some siomai dipped in toyomansi.

Favorite Fashion Blogger: Kristy of Monochroma.Chic

Basic Elegance would be the words to describe her style. This girl knows how mix and match her basics to come up with an outfit that softly speaks of classy and chic.

You can probably raid her wardrobe and end up clothes that would survive numerous closet cleanings and fast revolving trends.

I mean, who would throw out this draped vest?

She always has just the right amount of accessories...

And she can make you fall in love with a piece of garment over and over again.

Fact and Fave: Number 2

So this is my second random fact and favorite blogger that I said I was going to do,  from the Stylish Blog Award tag I got.

 Fact #1: I can live without music.

Ok, I know that sounds extreme. Maybe a little. What I meant is I don't love it as much as other people do. I don't know the newest hits nor the classics. I'm ignorant with singers, bands or even rockstars. No song influences my style or my art nor my life. I prefer my computer on mute unless I'm watching a video. You can ransack my hard drive and not find one downloaded song. 

With that said, I do know how persuasive music can be. How it can influence a person's mood or how it can be attached to a memory. It's just not a necessity in my life.

 

It drives the people around me insane. They find me weird that way. I guess, I sort of am.

Favorite Fashion Blogger: Kookie of Death by Platforms

 Edgy Chic would be how I describe her outfits. 

I remember her blog as the first fashion blog I ever stalked. I mean how can I not...she's ooozing with style. and what I love most about Kookie is her innate ability to take trends and totally make it her own. Her outfits always scream her name...it's loud and proud.

Although she's more known for her gorgeous sky-high platforms, I won't mind raiding her accessories drawer. Just look at those....

 

She's risque without ever being tacky.

Edgy but not trying hard. 

and she sure make those printed pants look HOT!

Fact and Fave: Number 1

So this is my first random fact and favorite blogger that I said I was going to do,  from the Stylish Blog Award tag I got. 

Be warned, it's a little photo heavy.

 Fact #1: I'm an illustrator.

or could have been. I'm not really working as one at the moment but it's something I really love to do. and the funny thing about it is, as monochromatic and neutral my outfits are, it's proportionally opposite to how colorful induced my artworks can be.

Favorite Fashion Blogger: Bestie of Capricious Club

Whimsical! that's how I describe her style. It's not that she dresses up like a Disney Princess but there's just something about her outfits that seem almost surreal and heartwarming. I know those are not usual words to describe someone's fashion but it's how I see hers.

 

She has this knack for wearing vintage inspired outfits without being costumey or dated.

Her outfits are always perfectly accessorized.

And boy can she wear them pants. Be it boyfriend jeans, or wide legged ones and even high-waisted skinnies.

it's just a joy to watch her indulge herself in different genres of fashion.

A true style chameleon indeed.
