It's been a while since I've worn a skirt. I've just been enjoying the ease and comfort of wearing pants/shorts. But since the shopping ban, I figured it's best to utilize my own closet. Voila! Feels like new clothes!!! Well, not really. But bare with me, let me live in my fantasy. hahaha..

And...

It's been a while since I used eyeliner, especially colored ones. You can't really see it clearly but I had on a blue eyeliner. You can see on my hand though. Yeah, I'm one of those people who use their hands as palettes and completely forget to wipe them off.

And of course...

Happy Hearts Day everyone. I was dateless and flowerless today...but not loveless. In whatever way you celebrated this day, I hope it was full of love and laughter. Hugs everyone!!!

Threw some stuff on and I was good to go. What I love about this outfit is how simple it looks from the front but as I turn around you get a little something more. I've worn this cover up a couple of times already but never had the opportunity to take pictures. So glad I was finally able to. I just wish the tiger's eyes weren't so sad. They're not as ferocious as I would like. hahaha..


Anyways...

I apologize for the very sporadic updating and the one or two sentences post. I'm a very fickle person and at the moment, I can't seem to blog properly. But I'm easing my way back into it. Hopefully I get more interesting stuff/outfit to blog about soon. 

And...

About those lipstick swatches. I tried doing those...but the lens I have now is not really made for that. So that's not happening anytime soon. Maybe if I finally have the money to buy a macro lens...swatches galore!

Something really chill for a day spent with the boyfriend. Woke up early to try and surprise him but the traffic was so bad, I got there late and he was already up. Boo! I did get him a cake for his birthday though...

Yep, decided not to sell these pink babies. I guess I never really wanted to. So, I waited for the perfect occasion to wear it : Chinese New Year. This would be my go to "we're-chinese-therefore-we-wear-colorful-clothes-on-special-occasions" shoes. Admittedly though, it might be considered hideous by the traditional Chinese oldies..(I'm not being age-ist or racist ok, I actually heard one of them say it.) Who cares??? I want them. And my dad has long given up on my wardrobe choices, so there!

Anyways...

I've rediscovered my love for my Candy YumYum. I've forgotten just how shockingly neon it is. Just look at the first photo! Malayo pa lang, kitang kita na!!! It's the first pink lipstick that I ever loved like this.. hahaha.. Pardon the "lipstick addict" babble..can't help it.

Hi guys. Sorry for neglecting the blog. I know the last quickie post is unacceptable. I have been experiencing blogging block lately. And I've also been lazy in dressing up. Just those moments I guess. Also I've been preoccupied with some other stuff. Oh gawd, those are a lot of excuses. 

Anyways...

I've gotten a couple of request (maybe from the same person?) to do lipstick swatches here. Do any of you wanna see that? I'm not really good at it (yet). My camera is quite old and the colors aren't as acurate in real life. But if a lot of you wanna see that I can try. Or I can suggest a couple of blogs that do excellent swatch photos. Lemme know. :)

And....

I'm plannin to do my 2011 Beauty Favorites. I know it's a little late in the month already. I just haven't found the time to take photos yet.

I had to attend a wedding about 2 weeks ago and had nothing to wear. Since I'm trying to save up for a new camera, I didn't really wanna spend money on a dress I was going to wear only once. I actually found a really nice dress but decided last minute not to buy it and just do some digging on my closet. 

This skirt has got to be one of my most favorite Forever21 purchase. It's so easy to dress up or dress down, and doesn't emphasize my hips like most maxi skirts do. And this corset I would wear more often if only my boobies (is there a more appropriate term??) would stop jumping off the cups everytime I do. 

Anyways...

Call me crazy but I seriously wore my Lita with this outfit. I really wanted something comfortable, plus you can't even see the shoes when I'm not holding up my skirt. Win-win for me. 

Ok....

I clearly am obsessed. I need to find a super comfy and pretty sparkly shoes for my sisters wedding. Dear Jeffrey Campbell, I wait for the day.

You may have already seen what I wore on New Years Eve from this POST...but this is the full body photo of it. This was supposed to be my Christmas outfit but I didn't think it was Church-appropriate so I ended up wearing this on our family reunion.

 I've had my eye on this shorts since October (I think) but I didn't have an occasion to wear it for so I always pass on it. BUT come December, I got obsessed with it. Obsessed, I tell you. I keep trying to find something similar in other shops but to no avail. So 2 days before Christmas, I went back to Forever21 and got half-blinded with all the sequined clothes they had. I seriously had trouble finding this particular sparkly shorts. Good thing my cousin was able to snag it from some random rack and it was my size! Yay for having shopping buddies with sharp eyes. 

Ok that was seriously a long blah blah moment about a pair of shorts.

Anyways, notice the new banner? I'm hoping it'll be temporary. My blog needs some serious revamping. Parang hindi ako web-designer sa itsura niya ngayon. It's one of the goals of 2012. Hopefully I can come up with a design in a month.

AAAAAND, a little tip. If you edit your POSTS in HTML, make sure all your

are closed. Blogger usually warns you if you happen to overlook it, DON'T IGNORE!!! Because if you do, the result would be your right/left column would be placed at the bottom.  

My layout got seriously screwed up just because I left one hanging. I kept trying to look at my design codes and saw nothing wrong with it. I even reverted to the default one but it was still there. Thank you google for providing the answer. It drove me MAAAAD.

Another one from last year. This is what I wore on the My Househusband, Ikaw Na! Blogger Presscon that I blogged about HERE.

Now I know I rarely show bags in my outfit photos...but in this case how can I not? Look how pretty. This was one of the stuff I bought during the 3 day Buy 1 Get 1 promo that Accessorize had back in December. I'll try to post my goodies from that sale. 

I also picked out my gift from Accessorize today. It's the cutest bag ever...will show it to guys soon. Thank you Accessorize!!!! Unwrapping your trademark pink paper always makes me giddy. True story!

Somedays, nothing beats a tank top, leggings and blazer. This was taken on one of those raining December days. And apparently I take "rainy" for winter hence the added scarf. 

I've been loving everybody's comments on my last post. I guess I sometimes appear too serious here on my blog but truth be told I'm such a weirdo. Not necessarily a good thing all the time but yeah, I'm just good amount of crazy.

Finally got bored with my very plain background that I decided to change it up a little. Heck, it's a new year of blogging right? Time for change. hahaha..But pardon the very sporadic editing of the photos, the sun was playing peek-a-boo with me the whole time so the colors are all wonky.

I want to write something clever for the first post of 2012...but my mind is just blank. I don't want to force it. The wit will come when it wants to. For now, I just want to say cheers to a new year and a new day. I don't want to plan for an "amazing year", I just want to enjoy it and live it.

Wore this last minute outfit for my Mom's birthday last December 14. Definitely got the thumbs down for my neutral ensemble. Good thing I had a good comeback.. "I'm wearing red Mom, red lipstick!" Nakalusot naman... 

Try as I can, I really fail at shopping for "colorful" clothes.  But I do excellently with in-your-faces bold, vibrant lipsticks. When all else fails, I grab a tube of one my many reds and I'm good to go. 

Although lately I've sporting more of my neutral lips..Come summer next year, my pinks and purples are coming out to play. :)

Anyways...last hours of 2011. 

Whether the year was amazing or depressing for you, I hope you took it all in. The year is about to end and it's never coming back. So all the good and bad things, all the heartbreaks and laughter, all of it, everything is part of your history now.  It'll make you who you are in 2012 so choose to learn, let go and be thankful for the experiences. 

2011..2012.. those are just numbers, everyday is a chance to be better. You make the choice.
