Another backlog post. Wore this to lunch with my family and cousins. I didn't really think the dress was crumpled until I saw these photos. Yikes!

This dress was just too adorable to pass up. As soon as I saw Pax post it up on Archive, I knew I had to have it.  I don't know what it is about "bows" that I can't seem to resist. 

And I know I know, you're all probably getting sick and tired of my Litas. It's all I ever wear these days. I wore a different pair of shoes the other day and it just didn't feel right on my feet anymore. They have become spoiled and stubborn. These shoes are just too comfy. But I'm on the hunt for an alternative.

It was funny reading the tweets of the bloggers yesterday. I realized, we are a little too attached to our blogs. The 24 hours of not being able to log in was too much depravation.

I actually wore this a day after this. I might have been a little obsessed with the combo.

I have to admit though, two years ago I would have found this outfit tacky, particularly with the leather and leopard print. Ok, maybe I still do but I kinda love it’s “tacky-ness” now.

Another thing I wouldn't have tried before are "bold lips". I used to hate emphasizing my lips, I feel like it already attracts attention without any color. However, lately I've been obsessed with loud lipsticks. I want me some purple one. Any recommendations? I'm thinking Up the Amp or Bust Out (new collection from Mac coming out). 

Edit: ok, I just realized when I saw it here. all three of my last outfits use “white, leopard and red”. I thought it was just this and the white dress. whoa!

I hate seeing my blog so idle so here's an outfit post from a couple of weeks ago. This is me sans my beloved eyeliner. Now you know why it's a must for me, I look teen-ish without them.

UPDATE:

My Dad was finally discharged from the hospital yesterday. He's still having mild fever but I think it's more to do with the fact that he's been lying down all the time. He just needs to move around. Ginormous thank yous to everyone for your sweet words prayers. Love you all.

Till We Meet Again

It really wasn't the best day for this outfit. That sweater was definitely meant for colder weather. I was sweating the whole time I was taking these photos and needed to take breaks just to cool myself down.

I really am not ready for summer to come,  I don't want to part ways with my blazers just yet. I'd probably still brave the heat with them, I'm too stubborn and obsessed.

And speaking of obsessions, I have a new one. yet again. Undies!!! the cute kind! hahaha.. I haven't been buying any new clothes or shoes lately but have been spending some moolah on gorgeous underwear.

I really believe that all women of any size and age should have a pair (preferably matching ones) that makes them feel beautiful!  It's empowering! Much like the hot red lips. But this I like more. No one gets to judge you or make nasty comments about them. It's your own little secret! And it feels great!  Go on ladies! La Senza and Debenhams are having some good sale. Accessorize has some cute ones on sale too!

I want to post photos (not wearing them, of course!) because they're too darn cute. But I won't!

I've had this top since last year but only got to wear it now. 

It's sheer! It has fringes! it is therefore LOVE!

This has got to be the one of my favorite blazer and to think I almost did not buy it. 

sorry if I'm being very incoherent right now...my eyes are still blurry.

apparently I now have scarring in my eyes due to the sore eyes..and still highly contagious.

this "thing" can last upto months and have a 10% chance of being permanent.

Define Me

If forced to describe my style…all I would be able to say is “fickle”. 

BUT this outfit, I think, is what it is compose of. A structured classic with a twist blazer, a huge bow, quirky hearts tights, sky high heels and bangs. and let’s not forget the “run” in my stockings. hahaha.. it’s all part of it. 

I get attracted to classic pieces but I’m never too old for ribbons and hearts. I think I’m just a combination of many things. Random and Fickle.

Wore this Sunday to go out and buy some more presents..i know Christmas has pass but we have out family reunion on New Year’s Eve, so it’s the time of our gift-giving. the boy and I had to hop from the Fort to Shangrila just to complete my list. 

I may have went a little crazy with the animal print…zebra and leopard all in one outfit!!! and I guess some people thought so too because they kept staring at the socks and dress. I think as far as the Philippine Fashion have evolved, some things will always be considered taboo. In my defense, I didn’t actually think the print on the socks will be that prominent until I saw these photos…hahaha..

and this jacket is becoming such a good buy in terms of wear per cost ratio…I’ve worn it twice in a week’s time. talk about obsessed.

The Mustard

Finally! A mustard outfit. It took me a while to haunt down a mustard blazer but I finally have one. it's from The Second Shop, another vintage online shop here in the Philippines. 

I'm not really sure why I decided to be matchy matchy with the shoes and skirt...but who cares?! as always, as long as I like it then I'm happy with it. and I'll try to stop wearing that hat now. the thing is like glued to my head...

I didn't have time to fix my hair because I was running late (as always)..so I tried braiding it like Bestie from The Capricious Club, which as you can see was a total failure. my hair is taking forever to grow, it's a little frustrating.

Twisted Classic

Wore this last Sunday to meet up with high school friends. We went to MOA, so I wanted to make it simple and easy to move in. and I just have to say seeing the crowd exhausted me.I didn't even try to look around the stores anymore.

We all know the shoes by now, and I am happy to say that it didn’t quite get the usual stares. the hat trumps the shoes.I know I’ve been wearing the hat non-stop, my apologies.

this shirt is such a good buy, again from Archive. i love how it's shapeless, and structured. it has shoulder pads. and the details on it are so unique too. the vest is my first buy from Second Shop. they have some great vintage pieces too but they get reserved so quick, you hardly have time to think. i loooove this vest!
