My cousin treated us to dinner for her birthday and I wanted to be a little festive. What's more festive than red right?

This outfit may not exactly be age-appropriate but what the heck, at least I get to check "wear a school girl outfit" on my bucket list. hahaha..

Thank you everyone for all the wonderful comments you have been leaving for my Dad. It make my heart swell. You really are the nicest and sweetest bunch of fashionistas!!!

Color Poppin'

20110313-1

My failed attempt at "Color Blocking". I need a pair colored shoes!

I was gone. Again.
It was my dad. We needed to rush him back to the hospital the Saturday after he was released. He presented some "stroke-like symptoms' which we later found out was a type of seizure.

He's back home now, under a close watch from all of us. He resents it. But we can't help it.

Missed you all!!!

Just Because

(jacket: Soiree. skirt: Archive. wedges: People Are People)

I hate seeing my blog so idle so here's an outfit post from a couple of weeks ago. This is me sans my beloved eyeliner. Now you know why it's a must for me, I look teen-ish without them.

UPDATE:
My Dad was finally discharged from the hospital yesterday. He's still having mild fever but I think it's more to do with the fact that he's been lying down all the time. He just needs to move around. Ginormous thank yous to everyone for your sweet words prayers. Love you all.

Update

I can't thank everyone enough for all the kind words and prayers you sent our way. The surgery was a success. The doctors did wonderfully and he fought bravely.

He was inside the OR for about an hour and spent around 2 hours in the recovery room. We were beyond ecstatic when the nurses told us that he's going straight to the room and not in the NCCU as we were originally told.

We were able to talk to him the same night. He has perfect motor skills. He started eating solid foods on the next day.  He started walking on the third day.

As of today, we're still at the hospital. He's been having on and off fever. The doctors are still trying to figure out what's causing it. He's really anxious to go home already so we're hoping it's nothing serious.

Again my sincerest and humblest gratitude to all of you!!! all the prayers and love.
