it feels good to be back in my neutrals..it’s fun to play around but there’s comfort in the tried and tested.

I really couldn’t wait to wear this skirt when I got it…i’m in love with it. my heart skipped a beat when I saw this from Pax’s newest collection. The length and color are perfect. I wish I could dress up during weekdays too because I need to rotate my clothes faster. I'd hate for this skirt never to see daylight again.

I’ve been good these past few days…i haven’t been shopping much when I go to the mall. i might have tamed down the beast, for now. if only I could say the same about my online shopping addiction.

Paper Dolls

Birthdays equals vibrant colors, that's just the way it is in our family. and for my mom's birthday dinner I decided to go all out with the hues.

This dress was an impulse buy from Archive. I knew it wouldn't be easy to style this...especially since it's a total outcast from my monotonous neutral wardrobe. but it was too pretty to pass up.

Looking at the photos, I feel like I'm playing dress up with somebody else clothes. it's really not my style. I still like it though. Maybe I should start injecting more colors in my outfits.

and it's also a blast from the past. the print of the dress, the vest and the hat..together it just screams 90's to me. do any of you remember "chalecos"? I wore those constantly as a kid. hahaha..

Gift Wrapped

I just had to post this. that's my little sister.


We finally had somewhat of a cold wind last Sunday so I took the opportunity to wear some tights and jacket. I take what I can in this weather.

I felt extremely girly in this outfit. I mean how can I not when I have this ginormous bow hanging on me, right?

good thing I decided to ditch the heels after this because we headed to SM Dept. Store. My sisters needed some stuff for their christmas costumes.

And I know SM's slogan goes "we have it all for you" but I never realized it included the whole population of Manila. there were just pack and pack of people from all direction. it was chaotic and exhausting. i guess everybody is busy with their christmas shoppings. which I need to get busy with soon....

Monochromatic

I’ve lost my mojo! I tried all kinds of outfit yesterday and this is all I came up with.

I do love my blazer though, my guy called it granny blazer. rightfully so and i’m proud of it. i wanted the top and skirt to look like a dress so I knotted it at the back. and of course, when in doubt go for killer shoes.

I also checked out Moonlit Bazaar and I saw this camel coat that I fell absolutely in love with. so I did take it home with me. and I’ve been trying it on quite a few times since then already. a little obsessed, i know.

and I have to say, shopping with a boy makes my wallet damn happy. the shopping impulse was put on a tight leash.

Knitted Animal

Went to the opening of a family friend's Thai restaurant, 8 Spices, in Robinsons Galleria. The food was good. Anyone who enjoys Thai food should try it. it's in the newly built Veranda on the 2nd floor. It used to be a parking area. After that, we went grocery-hopping. we needed some christmas baskets to give out for the Holidays.

My sister and I were planning to go to Forever 21 but we couldn't leave my Mom because she's feeling sick yet again. Parents can be stubborn sometime, she refuses to go to the doctor. We might have to drag her there soon if she doesn't feel better soon

anyhows, this day was just a whirlwind of emotions..the details of which I won't bore you with. All I can say is I need a new card reader and lot's of sleep.

The knit vest I've had for a while now. it's as far as I can go with knits, I think. and yes, that white shirt is the same one from a couple of post back. haha..
